Pensacola Seafood Festival

Around our coastal paradise, there’s always so much to do, no matter the time of year, that it’s hard to fit everything into one vacation.

The beautiful Emerald Coast and the stunning white sand beaches on which the Sea Oats Motel, the original vacation destination on the gulf, are made all the better by the gorgeous, crystal clear skies, mild temperatures and low humidity of Fall, and not to mention, the uncrowded attractions and low, off season rates.

However, there are a few seasonal events that we here at the beautiful Sea Oats Motel, in charming Destin, Florida, consider to be extra special and certainly worth marking your calendar for!

If you love seafood, you’ll love the Pensacola Seafood Festival. An assortment of fresh seafood, prepared by carefully selected food vendors, is tossed with one of Northwest Florida’s largest arts and craft fairs and seasoned with live entertainment to bring you a family-friendly day of fun.

As you enjoy our wonderful fall weather and the sounds of live bands playing in the adjacent park, stroll the arts and craft booths that will fill Downtown Pensacola’s Seville Square and treat your taste buds to an array of savory seafood from some of our most talented local chefs.

Choose from a wide variety delicious local delicacies including grilled conch, seafood gumbo, oyster croquettes, soft shell crab, coconut shrimp, Caribbean crab cakes, bang bang shrimp, plus more than 100 other seafood choices… try them all!

Saturday and Sunday, fun-filled children’s activities will take place in Pensacola News Journal Pelican Park and guests can expect bounce houses, a rock climbing wall, inflatable human hamster balls, hands-on crafts and the candy cannon and more to entertain the young ones from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m on Sunday.

Held at Seville Square in Downtown Pensacola, located at Zarrogossa and Adam Streets, admission to the Pensacola Seafood Festival is free, but admission to the Bartram Park, where the entertainment stage is located, will be $5 after 5:00 p.m.

The family-friendly event not only features more than 130 arts and crafts vendors presenting their wares, but live entertainment from headlining musicians.
