Prolonging The Magic
Nothing can burst your vacation bubble quicker than getting sick.
Sometimes things just happen and you catch something but you can still increase your chances of not going down in the middle of a vacation by taking some precautionary measures before you start your getaway.
Build yourself up as you’re preparing to come here. Make sure you’re eating healthy options at healthy portions, get plenty of rest, drink water and don’t overindulge in alcohol. The better you feel before you begin your adventure, the better your body will be able to handle the traveling whether it’s by plane, train or automobile.
While you’re here make sure to keep your blood pumping. Be active.
Even though the point of vacation is to relax you still need to perform basic maintenance so to speak on your body. You still need activity so take a moment to enjoy your new surroundings and go for a walk or take a swim. It’s a time you can get the best of both worlds: you can get that needed exercise but you can drink in the amazing beauty of the beach that drew you here in the first place.
While you’re on the beach make sure you also stay protected by wearing sunblock. A lot of people love that sun kissed look and you may be trying to go home with a nice tan but remember that stuff like that takes a little time to build up. If you try too much too soon you’re going to end up with a sunburn and you don’t need us to tell you how horrible that can be on vacation.
While you’re down, also try to avoid being excessive in your activities and consumption. Try not to drink the entire bar or pull an all nighter. Even though the food around here is top notch, don’t make an attempt to try it all at once and gorge yourself. Going to the extremes can wreck all the work that you’ve done building yourself and leave you more susceptible to sickness. There’s nothing wrong with indulging, just don’t go overboard.
We don’t want to seem like we’re telling you what to do. We just want to make sure that everybody stays happy and healthy.
If you do happen to get sick though you can at least rest easy knowing that you’ll be comfortable in your beachfront unit at Sea Oats. You’ll be able to see the beach from your room and take just a few steps to put your feet in the sand. You’ll be able to rest on your plush bed and take solace knowing that since you’re located on Scenic Hwy 98 with us, you’ll be away from all the noise and the crowds but still close enough to the stores to get something to help make you feel better. You’ll be able to focus on getting better and getting back out there to the fun.
