This old motel on Scenic 98 is a diamond in the rough. It’s in a great neighborhood, no where near any of the mega-places, steps to the white sand beach. We practically have the place to ourselves as this is the off-season. Weather has been foggy and misty in the upper 50’s. Breaks in the wet give plenty of time for strolling up the pristine beach. And yes, it is true, the sand is so white it looks like snow. Sea Oats is old and not fancy, but who cares, because the room is plenty big with a microwave and small fridge. Fantastic off-season rate. Best thing of all is the beautiful view out the sliding glass door to a covered back porch, a few steps down to a sandy path through twisted fencing, tall sea oats and sea grass, beach, then beautiful blue and green Gulf water
